Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys Targaryen (Daenerys storm born, Dany) is the last known member of the House Targaryen at the end of the 3rd century. She is one of the main POV characters in the books. In the TV series she is played by Emilia Clarke.

In the books Daenerys is a young woman of 13 years (at the beginning of A Song of Ice and Fire ). It has grown small and very beautiful, has the silver-blond hair and violet eyes, which are typical of the Targaryen, in the TV series the age of Daenerys Targaren has not been mentioned but is around the later teens.

She has low sensitivly to heat. In Pentos it rises in a boiling hot bath, but what she finds comfortable. Later she loves hot baths.

In her youth, Daenerys was a shy girl with low self-esteem. She knew life only as an exile, the constant flight and fear from Robert Barethian and the whimsy of her brother. However, he embodied everything she had left of her family. To give himself courage, they used to be, with the sentence I am the blood of the dragon to give self-awareness .

Her marriage to Khal Drogo was a turning point in their lives.
